I got a Green Thumb; I garden ; I try to grow as much of our own as possible so we 'know' what we are eating. My space is limited, another reason to move out to the country.

These are 4 Paw Paw tree's I planted 7/8 years ago.The largest had 9 flowers in the spring; all  dropped off except one and it has one fruit. Being the first year to produce, this is normal. Next year will see an increase in fruit. Have never had a taste but I am excited to sample it. They are highly nutritional.SAM_1987.JPGSAM_1986.JPG

These are indigenous tree's of the Carolinian forest type and native to S W Ontario.

Nice garden. Just up the road from our daughter's they are growing a couple of dozen stalks of corn in front of the front door, in Carleton Place. Fresh corn at your door.

Looking good, Junior. Never heard of PAWPAW

I have a small 4 x 10 garden area out back and grow hot peppers for myself and 1 tomato plant for the wife.

Peppers all from seed.. The purple ones are Black Pears and I plant them out front as an ornamental.

Those are pretty looking Peppers 58chev. I will have to look for some on my next trip to get more box plants.

Paw Paw are indigenous to the area, know as a Carolinian species. Check out Carolinian Canada for more info.

The flowers are red like the Red Trillium's and smell bad ; they attract the Green abdomen Fly for pollination.

More reason for crap, to get the Flies to hang around, LOL
