Yes, I can to. Theres also Milk delivered to your door along with Bread and Ice, coal delivery for heating. All great memories that keep us young and wondering what this current generation would do if they were transported back to a time when you had to use your imagination to entertain yourself.
Scary to think this will be the generation of our future Dr's, teachers, lawyers, politicians, judges, all deciding our future. We could be in for a rocky end before we leave ..not sure if it will be good or bad. I find it undefinable to see a good outcome in the future.. With all the violence and explosion in the middle east and moving in our direction, the future does not look like we are moving into a better time for us or our Children.. I am glad to have the great memories of the fun , safe, and great life we had as kids growing up with the Beaver, The rifleman, have gun will travel, the ponderosa, 15cent burgers at the Red-Barn, Nobody worked on Sundays , we always went to the beach with our kids, and it was full of family fun..now its, all those cell phone computers kids and adults have in their hand now 24-7 .. The winds of change are blowing for sure..Thanks for the memories. I think I lived most of my life in the best times of the world history..

I went to an amazing deli in Lunenburg for lunch the other day and had a fried bologna sandwich. I don't think the young lady serving it to me understood how good they can be.
My fav was a fried egg sandwich with bacon and just a dab of ketchup .......it always burnt the hell out of the roof of my mouth ......geez maybe I'll go make one now .
