One of my pet peeves is fraud ....and fraudsters .  There is a car for sale down here that isn't what the guy says it is . I went to see it 2 YEARS AGO with a buddy who was considering buying it . I noticed that in spite of the badging , the car wasn't what he advertised .  When I mentioned that to the owner back then he said ( and I'm NOT making this up ) ..." I told the girl at the licence bureau to put that on the ownership as the car model because it would be worth more !!.... He then had it appraised by a local , well know , "dubious" appraiser who will write up the appraisal according to what you will pay .  

Now , two years later it is back on line . 

 

Any ideas ? Firing squad ? biggrin

I see that a lot on tri five Chev's. On 57 chevs they show and proudly state it is a BelAir when the body was never produced as a B/A.

I'm sorry…..henrystoys are you saying the 57 belair ( Serial number starts with 1037D) in my garage was never produced

Not at all rochie, what I'm saying some models like the 2 door wagon(not Nomad) were never produced as a B/A. Would like to see your 57, did not see any pic's of it anywhere(just interested in seeing your car).
