Yet another motorcycle accident in this area .......

....and two more fatalities , driver and passenger . Another fatal accident a couple of weeks ago . What the heck is going on ?

The one today , bike folks riding along a highway , van approaches on a cross road , runs the stop sign and , BOOM .  Are bikes that hard to see ? Maybe they are . Bike and riders are usually in black . My wife's son has a bike and has had one for about 25 years ....several " close calls " . I've NEVER been into bikes and never will  But for those people who are into that it seems they are risking their lives with every outing , these days .

Same in your area ?

People seem to be in too much of a hurry! I ride a bike and evan a person on a bicycle cut me off! When I ride, it's always on the defensive side , watching fo all the idiots on the road.

Have ridden bikes since I was 16, and somehow survived til now. My wife and I have done a lot of touring all over Canada, and The Exited States of America, but finally sold our last bike a few years ago. Fortunately, we have never been down, but have had a few close calls. The trouble with riding a bike, is that you always come out second best - no matter who is at fault, and a lot of time it is the 4 wheeler.

Another one today! Biker ran head on into a transport tractor. The newscaster said the truck driver wasn't hurt!

This just happened up the road from where we are camping.

Maybe the trucks have to start wearing visible vests.

i just had the most blatant one i have had happen in some years on friday night at dusk. i couldn't believe he did it, luckily it was on a street in a small burg, planefield, and not on a bigger hi-way at 90 plus km. he didn't even know he did it until i went by his door at 6" before he was entirely in the lane, then he pulled off and turned around. it wasn't too many years ago i would of turned around to but this getting old sh!t sucks at times and you really can't fix stupid no matter how mad you are. maybe it's time to give it to the kid for awhile to ride and see if i can't get him off his jap-scrap.
