looking for a points distributor for a 366/427 tall deck.

Doug. What is the difference from a reg GM dizzy?? as opposed to a tall deck..curios to know..smile

the tall decks are .400 higher than a passenger car block. the distributor shaft and push rods are longer and the intake manifold is wider. a non tall deck intake will work with spacers. i'd like to find a stock distributor and convert it with a pertronix unit. there are a few questionable things on the 427 td in my chevelle that i'd like to address.

I knew the engine was different But I never realized they used a different dizzy I know I have a few point distributors ..I never knew that so I learned something from this post..thankssmile
