Any GM master techs here.. I have a 93 Caddy with a fuel guage problem.. Really problematic to test for a BCM failure Has a "C" displayed in the Guage screen FDC-Fuel Display Centre, but unable to enter diagnostic mode occassionaly for no reason will display correctly for 15 seconds or on a battery disconnect will display for 10-15 seconds then reverts back to "C" display..just wondering if anybody has had any knowledge or experience with this ..

The car Chuck talking about is mine we both figure it is the BCM but there does not seam to be a test for it so that makes this difficult in not being able to fail or pass the BCM so we have been looking at as much as we can before we order a new BCM

no access to on-board diag's when the FDC and climate control are not "on the line",....... I would guess C is climate and not clock .... I  would start by cleaning the E prom and battery connections .If the BCM looks or smells burnt then replace it
