Good to be on the Ontario Rodder's Community board. I know the Admin as I purchased a 49 Merc from him many years ago. I was going gang busters on it but had to relocate with work a year and a half ago from Sarnia to Welland and it shut the project down temporarily. This is how it sits now in storage
I managed to get the garage organized and ready for my rides to make their way down here this summer.
Can't wait to get the Pro Street GMC and the Vortec powered YJ down with me.
The only thing I can post on the site that I have worked on lately is the MILLION AND ONE home projects I have completed to keep the family overjoyed (you can almost taste how much I miss wrenching). I am trying to meet new friends and get involved here in my new town but is hard after living in one place for so long. On that note, I have taken on a project to get in good with one locals. I will be bringing in a beautiful 67 Acadian to fabricate and weld in a left side rear body mount. I will take pictures and post as I blast through it. More posts on the way............................. Rhys
Hi Rhys: Finally, Welcome to this shop.. I know it's a pain after having all your build in one place and then it falls apart and yah gotta move. Like your Job, lots of friggen work to start your life all over again. I can pretty much say with confidence that, most of the guys here know you and your build.. If one didn't know what you have done already they would not see much from that lonely little picture. I think we all know your progress and workmanship.. You are doing a great job on the Merc.. I have been watching you lurking for a month trying to decide if you wanted to go through another site..I promise this site will not turn into a Chit-hole like the other one did..I suspect you read my speech in the intro section.. I mean every word of it. I will not let this place turn into anything like that.. This is my last site. I hate change. But, I have to accept some responsibility for my own rants . I was not a role model there for sure..I apoligise for that .. But that was yesterday and to-day we are moving on.. Thanks for joining over here. I am sure most of the guys here probably know you.. We have managed to get the best of the good rodders that contribute to the board.. I won't let you down I will do my best to keep the rodders here and liking being here.. Anything you need with the board I am here to serve the members.. Thanks for joining us.. Like the rest that came here you are all an asset to the board we seem to have a great group of rodders here ..Thanks for a great intro..
Chuck

Welcome from Niagara Falls. Glad you got relocated OK. Might run in to you at local cruise night this summer. Good luck with your " home projects". I moved to the Falls 4 years ago and am still at it and the car has suffered for it.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.................................... Looking forward to the Niagara Region cruizing this summer and hope to run into some of the guys on the board............... Rhys.
Rhys, welcome from Niagara. the cruise nights are starting up, went to one on Queen st in Niagara Falls tonight, about 25 cars, not bad for the first night. Friday is the start of Seaway Mall cruise as well. Enjoy the site and post your projects for us all to share............
I am two minutes from the Seaway Mall beside the Canal off of Thorold (12 Virginia Street)....................... I so wanted to pull into the Seaway every Friday last year but felt like a turd without a nice car...................... Just a ton of cool cars that completely fill that Mall parking lot............................. Rhys.
It's good to see you here.
Your '49 Merc looks like it has '51 rear quarters.
I'd like to see that one when you're finished.
One of my all time favourites.
