You talking the longer heat shield? I've seen the top two short ones before but never the long one. Even repo'd, as far as I know the shorts can be had new but not the "boomerang".

Um,,,,,Um ,,,,=I don't think it matters I don't think the long one goes over the temp. sensor to protect it. 

I'm just gathering original (looking) parts for my engine stand/wall art piece. I just thought of another place to check.

 The guy that had this engine was working on a corvette so you could be right.

This bump reminded me about these. About a week ago I Emailed the guy but haven't heard back yet. He travels all over the world with the RED BULL aerobatic planes so he could be away..

Well I found a set of these at Delaware Swap Meet. I bought them and some of the shielding, a box full for $25
