Not much to it, 15' x 23' I wanted bigger but the city had something to say about that.
Some years there is room to walk around and work in there, others it can be very tight. At least my car has a dry place to rest.
The structure was hired out to a company owned by an old friend of the family, then I completed the entire interior, electrical, insulation, drywall.
It has electric radiant heated slab (yes, nice to work on in the winter), all framing is 2" x 6" timber, insulated, 60GAL compressor with a few lines run around the walls.
The bench area has shrunk by 75% since I first built it, one set of shelves I had saved from my kitchen reno, they were original to my home that was built in 1953.
What the bench looks like most times.
Somewhere in there is the 58.
What I wish it would look like all the time.
And if anyone ever spent any time down east, my car apparently was a big part of drag racing in the mid 1970's. When my car arrived at my home, it had two wires hooked up, distributor, starter and fuel sender. That was it, the rest had been all cut up.
Looks good Frank.. I sure Hope to see you drive that Delray some Day.... But I also understand how hard it be to get at things. With a wife and family it can be hard ...keep plugging. Wish I was closer I would help you ..
