just putting it away 5-6 yrs ago in a buddies building. its home now.
this is a pic of a painting the kids had done of my bike for a x-mas gift a bit ago. pretty much the same except
for new exhaust.
i pretty much inherited this from a very good friend 5yrs ago. r.i.p. willy. it's my favorite to just tool around in.
it was a one owner, garage kept, utah car. it is now in black primer ready for paint and a top. another coin toss on the color, lol.
otonabee inn in peterborough. we were up to visit some family and cruise. the other 1/2 drives the green one.
bay of quinte 4yrs ago. just having a grin buzzing a buddy in a puff ball. a.k.a. sail boat-lol
ooops on the pics first. lol howdy
thanks for the invite as i see there are some straight shooters over here which is a good thing. i am busy getting things ready to roll around here for another summer and it is my time to get little odds and sods done as they fire up and come out. my next project will be a 40 pontiac coupe make over. thinking 327 2x4 carb, was going to be 4 spd but not sure now after driving the 200r4 in the chevelle for 3-4 yrs. i didn't have a clue they were building auto trans that could work the way they do today. probably a 9" rear. the tranny will probably end up a coin toss.
this time of year it can get busy around here. all are driven except for the coupe. how come it seems to take twice as long to get them out than it did to put them away? "HUMPH"

LOL maybe I should change it to the hearse!
Funny thing is I had an 81 Camino as well and put them both up for sale figuring I would sell one and keep the other. There was one dipshyte that came to see the 66 and started saying how rough it was and needed quarters blah blah blah and made a low ball offer. I told him what he was full of, he didn't like hearing the truth and left. Well shortly after that the 81 sold and I pulled the ad for the 66 and guess who starts trying to contact me about buying the 66....I wouldn't have sold it to him even if he paid full asking price!

glen, that's pretty funny. if i hadn't of thought it wasn't going to a good place it wouldn't of went. it's the first one i bought when i got back into this old car hobby. as for the hearse who would of thought women would be squeamish about having one sitting around. YAK-yak-yak. lol
