It is official,as of Mar 16 2016; St Thomas Raceway Park is now I H R A sanctioned

All N H R A licences and chassis certs. are valid until their expiry date.

Good to hear. Unfortunately these days  seems like drag ways are getting few and far between. We had one up in this area (Bonfield) but that went for a crap.cry

So now its back to tearing up back roads and main street after midnight up here in the River.

I am not a big drag racing fan but can appreciate the cars and the sport. What will this do to the St Thomas facility? Is it considered a plus or minus for them?

I believe this will work in favor for the current operator of the facility considering his 'Landlords' track is IHRA (G Bend)
