CAR SHOW IN FONTHILL, ONTARIO
Permalink

Pelham Summerfest started out as a one day event in Fonthill, Ontario but has grown to four days in length because of its popularity.  It runs over the 3rd weekend of July each year, and this year it’s from Thursday July 14th to Sunday the 17th.  If you’ve never been to this area it’s in the Niagara Region just south of St. Catharines, about 30 minutes west of Niagara Falls.  This area is really beautiful and it’s in the heart of wine country if you’re so inclined.

This year, Sunday July 17th is devoted to a car show in beautiful downtown Fonthill, and we’re looking for rods, customs, classics, and antiques.

There will be 4 live Blues bands playing in the on-site band shell, wine and beer sales, a seating area and shade tent, a kid’s play area, retail vendors, food vendors, and lots of support services (EMS, washrooms, security, crowd control, etc.).  There will be goodie bags and trophies (participant’s choice).  The cost is only 5 bucks for the car – the driver and passengers are no charge.

Check out the first website below for more information on the car show and to register.  Check out the second website and come and enjoy the entire weekend!

Hope to see you there.

GMDad, if you go there look for a red '32 Ford tudor. That's Dean Jarvis
He also travels with a flat black '30/'31 Model A pickup. That's Johnny Warrick.
They both live on Highland Rd. Dean is at 1061. Drop in and see him.

I remember Johnny Warrick 1956 Nomad. Use to hang around a lot with Ray Krozek who I worked with at Queenston Motors in the parts dept.

Just a gentle reminder of the car show at the 4 day Pelham SummerFest in Fonthill on Sunday, July 17th. It looks like we’ll have a good turnout, including a Corvette club display next door to the main show. We’ll have four live blues bands, wine and beer sales, shaded seating area, kid’s play area, retail and food vendors, the works, and only 5 bucks a car! Come for the whole weekend and enjoy the beauty of the Pelham area. See you there.
