You 'sportsmen' may already know this; All P O L (possession only licence) have been grandfathered to P A L (possession acquisition licence) and you don't have to write a test!!!!

I did the same years ago and kicked myself hard for it because I could not buy long arms . It is just like if you had a 310A licence which at one time included truck and trailer,you got both when they were Grandfathered (310A & 310 T) I remember both renewals coming about 2 weeks apart; 1st the 310 A which I renewed and then the 310 T which I did not;second mistake.

John i was grandfathered into big truck licencing when the change happened just had to right the air brake when it came into effect that was around a million miles ago now lol dam been on the road to long
