Should add another topic for health..Boy I have been out of it for about 4 days now..I got the worst cold I have ever had. I am on 4 days now and still just dragging my fat a$$ around.. Get up for a bit and back to bed .I have been just sleeping on and off..I just can't seem to shake it out my head I feel spaced out most of the time but by the time I could a drs appointment I might be dead..Hopefully a couple more days I will be better.. I can't recall ever having a cold like this one..

Wow..been down for a week..I am feeling better to-day not back to how I should be but, I was up all day to-day..Wifes are not allowed to get sick!!! the house is a mess, My monitor on my pc went south ..I had to go into Stratford this after noon to get a new monitor..I will install in the morning..this one will not come to life for about 10 to 15 min after it goes to sleep..May got my cold.. I had another one here somebody gave me..so I plugged it in and it works fine for about 5 min then the back light goes out ..I still can see the screen but very very dark..looks black I thought it was going off but then I noticed I could still see the screen but could not see enough to use it..as long as I turn it off and on it will come back on sometimes for 10 min and sometimes for a minuet .then the screen goes dark..It will take me a couple days to get the house cleaned and laundry done.. So I hope to be back on my game by Monday..thanks for holding the fort down for me..really hard to sick with my girls troubles ..I try to keep an eye on her but it's hard when your out of it sick..So A day or two should have us back to our normal...
Thanks ..I notice a couple other boards I visit are pretty slow I guess the guys are getting cabin fever to get out to smell burning rubber and feel some grease under their finger nails..I have trying to grow the board but I guess it will just have to take a bit of time..I am ok with that..

i hope you do get better soon and as for your monitor going south i wish my issues were that easy in this high winds we have had over the last day i lost one of my soft storage shelters last night and now i have repair what i can to save my stock looks like it is time for a container so it will last LOL

Yes Chuck, get your health back. The boards not going anywhere. We still visit it. I have to commend you for the job your doing between the forum, sick wife and household chores. Takes a special guy to keep it all running smoothly.............

Hey John: I had to go get a monitor yesterday afternoon..I just was checking the phone last night and seen your number on the phone..I just deleted it, I thought you were calling to see if I was home afore you came to visit Diane and wanted to make sure I was out.. Still a bit weak in the head and it is nice to be able to have a little afternoon nap.. But time to get at it ..does not take long before the house work stuff falls behind. I am not sure how many of us appreciated how hard our wife's work to keep a clean house ,clean clothes in our drawer, nice hot supper, nice fresh bed to sleep in..anyway, I will be here all day today. I would like to get the house work caught up.. I am thinking spring is coming to fast for me this year..These are the times in life I wish I had a lot less yard and buildings to maintain..When I was younger I always wanted this big place in the country. Now the kids are long gone and I have all the work to do I am not looking forward to cutting grass this year. It takes one whole day a week to cut grass alone and in the spring it is even hard to let it go a full week with out cutting. My coupe needs some exhaust work probably mufflers and tail pipes..Glad I have my own pipe bender. The coupe probably needs all the brakes gone over and a wee tuning and a little touch of Freon to stay cool I think I heard they were predicting a hot summer..This will the first summer of my life that I am not sure how much outing, cruzing, with Diane.. I hope to get her out as it is harder for me to leave her unless I have somebody to stay with her and that is not easy. Sure glad that damned cold is mostly gone and as far as I can tell I am standing upright and my mind is fairly sound..So better get to it ..My schnauzer Riley needs a bath and a haircut so that is my first chore while Diane is still asleep....Have a good one..
