well i went to toronto to get and find some parts yesterday  was not a totall waste looked at several pieces and parts and in the end bought a gen 3 rear axle posi 3.42 gear with disc brakes and a 350 remain block ready for assembly  lots of miles but made a good day

Sounds like a good day. I do hate that drive too and or through Toronto ..I am going to assume your retired Bob as you make a lot of parts runs..smile

I have to believe it's harder to support this car habit than a drug habit... I have spent way to much money on rust in my life. I am now thinking that money would have been much more valuable to me if it had been invested in real estate, like my home .. It seems to have appreciated much more than the rust I have accumulated ..smile

chuk i agree property is a good investment but upkeep and taxes eat away at all of that along with bad tenants at least with my cars i get to enjoy them and still have money to recover in the end and let us be real here we meet more friends with cars then houses lol

That's true most of the people we meet in regards to house Reno's.. are much bigger money pits..Roofers, plumbers, electricians, By-law officers, housing inspectors, etc..Can't say I made friends with any of them.biggrin In fact most of them I don't like at all..cry

As long as they are car guys when I meet them..If they come to my door to fix a plumbing problem ..I don't like them...smile.. You no Mechanics always have happy, happy customers, they never complain about us.. I have a few who have called me the Grim-Reaper.. biggrin biggrin biggrin but I am sure they like us mechanics.  How could they not??? Mechanics are great people..biggrin biggrin biggrin

 A while ago my 'putter died all of my pictures are still in there,,, I hope.. This 'putter also has a different system. My old one was vista.

We got along well but I'm still learning this one. I just pulled a picture I had down loaded a while ago.Now if I could just get my truck to look like that I'd be happy.
