I have a 1990 force(mercury)90 hp   "triple cyl"  I need  a place that can bore the cylinders. I called a friend here whose father did a car engine years ago for me and he did my 239 in 03 I called him because of past work and trust he usually sends then to Montreal was not sure they could do it with out calling. I did not want him to take time from his busy day. anybody know anyone that they can recommend?closer than Montreal.  It will need pistons and rings also,  not sure on the 10-20-30 depending on bore needed.  I think 10 but it will depend on size available.

Thanks  Barry

interesting, don't know if they do the same process or not for outboards but when reading this it brought to mind that we use to send our snow machine cyl's to montreal for nikasil coating treatment for hardening. that would be the only reason i would guess they would be going to montreal that i can think of. huh, if it was mine i would trust this guys opinion on where to go with it, http://www.jpmarine.reach.net/. talk with paul and tell him rick from r & r foods gave you the heads up. they won't do the machining but wherever he says to go with it would be the place i would go. he has been working on outboards for well over 30yrs and is a straight shooter. as for pistons i am sure wiseco will have one once you know the size needed.

i don't know a bunch on outboards but if it was mine i would be trusting his opinion/suggestion. good luck
