Finally went to the strip with the Nova Friday night to make some passes for Saturday's C K Nationals. Very hot,bad air and no licks so I stayed out of the 'groove'.

1st pass 15.59 (9.95)  2nd  15.34 (10.021) 3rd with timing bumped 15.20 (9.844)    all 1/4 mile times  ( 1/8 in brackets )

Saturday-better air, S/SW wind not nearly as hot -2 time shots only-all 1/8 mile - 1st 10.180 - 2nd I go RED  9.844.   First round eliminations, I dial 9.95 : Car runs 9.85 ten under! I had a blast    and  everyone misses me  aww  Next weekend ONDR - cheap tech card=cheap racing fees   smile

As you all heard ,someone died there Friday night shortly after 9PM from StThomas: My sympathy to his loved ones

I bet you were grinning ear to ear after the first rip down the track again. Ben is getting ready to let her hang down the quarter soon. He had to replace his intake and he made a cold air intake for the car as well. He's hoping to crack the 14 sec mark this year.

Back last night for a couple passes before the cold front moved in- 1st pass  9.436 (1/8)  14.498@ 96.18 mph in the 1/4.

Where did this come from, compared to the Friday night before the C K Nationals when I can't get out of the 15 's    ??????

I did nothing different to the car from the last strip passes. Same tank of fuel.

2nd pass- 9.2078 (1/8)  14.1639 @98.04 mph in the 1/4 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I learned from this :   My car is 'Air Density' sensitive.

I knew it had more in it,,,,,,,

if this 2nd pass,- 9.2078 (1/8) 14.1639 @98.04 mph in the 1/4, wasn't with slicks on you should get into the 13's my guess. good luck
