Yes thanks for the beautiful pictures. 

I made a big mistake today. I'm trimming branches branches on our maple tree's,just the ones that hang down low.

I cut one off then went on to a couple of more and I looked back and saw this strange little cup shaped thing. I found it was a humming bird nest with two babies. One was still in the nest and one on the ground. We put the one baby back in the nest and I put the branch back up in the tree. I don't know if the babies will servive.

The nest was just like a small cup the size of a thimble made out of what looked to be threads from old blue jeans. Thanks babies were larger then a ordinary house fly and smaller then a June bug .

Sorry to the humming birds of the world!!!!!!
