I spent a few hrs yesterday helping a good friend of mine son work on his 70 chevelle.Jake is only 20 years old but loves old cars-I have donated my time and many parts to this project over the last few months -he told me his good friend Calvin got his 1987 Buick Grand National stolen last friday afternoon around 1:30 pm in Woodstock from the parking lot where he works-this was his pride and joy as he searched and saved for years for this car-took the thieves 3 minutes to steal it--he like Jake is 20 years old and both are volunteer firefighters-Keep your eyes peeled Ontario plates BXJP 444  nice to see young kids interested in these older cars.

Keep on Cruising!!!

there is a couple that would be easily reached if he worked till 4;pm and one has a rep for this sort of stuff. it would appear to be targeted as there ain't many just sitting around in a big parking lot. guessing

A multi-jurisdictional police investigation dubbed Project Shutdown has led to the recovery of 75 stolen vehicles in Six Nations of the Grand River.
Police forces from Halton, Six Nations, Ontario Provincial Police, and Brantford assisted Hamilton police in the project that targets auto theft in and around the Greater Toronto Area.

Last Thursday, officers discovered roughly $811,000 worth of stolen vehicles in numerous locations on Six Nations territory where, investigators say, the vehicles were being dropped off and dismantled.
According to police, high end GMC pickup trucks and SUVs are frequently targeted and stripped for their parts and sold illegally and within criminal networks.
Anyone with information that could assist police in this investigation is asked to contact Staff Sgt. Emidio Evangelista 905-546-2991 or Crime Stoppers
