It seems photobucket has decided to charge almost $400 per year to allow people to do what they call "third party hosting" which is what allows you to post pictures easily on web forums.  Every picture that my son Ben and I have posted is from photobucket location which means none of the pictures will show anymore.  I highly doubt that I will be able to ever put them back up and I sure ain't paying a yearly fee.

Sorry about that.

Rich

I use picturetrail and a few years ago they said I would have to pay to add more pictures once I passed the free amount. Still do not pay. Now my pictures off the phone automatically go to Google photo.

Ya other forums are commenting as well. the beginning of the end of photo bucket for sure. Esp. since you can do it so many other ways for free. Sucks though for anyone that has used it already. You end up with a blank picture. Sucks for sure.

They will die out like a few others of years past IE: Anglefire, Geocities & Tripod. They all tried the same thing.

I have started downloading my photos from the bucket and will put them on imgr, so far they seem to be much better without the annoying popups.
