Got a message from chuck and he says he got home around 3pm he is tired and a little rattled from the events that have taken place over the past few mounts. So he is resting and getting some strength back.

Yes I am, back in Sarnia right now to pick up my daughter and head home tomorrow
I will give him a call and touch base for sure.
It's more important he gets rest and recharged for car season
You never know I might just take a run down with the tow truck this summer

good to see your home buddy. your biggest hurdle now will be forcing yourself to let nature and the drugs take their course with lots of rest and eating proper, were not kids anymore chuck. i know you still have a lot on your plate bud, good luck.

I talked  to Chuk today. He is at home, goes to the hospital daily.
He is very weak and I think he is pretty depressed with the health problems he and his wife are having.
Sorry that's it,, really it is his story to tell not mine but I do know there is lots of concern.

Chuck, do you have someone to talk to? You should not be alone right now with your health issues and the stress. Your wife will be fine, she will miss you and home no doubt but she has people to care for her.

Worried about you. Hopefully you have some one to reach out to other than us bunch of hooligans!! LOL.

Hey Chuk
Nice to see a post from you and that you are on the mend. Life sure deals some nasty stuff sometimes but I'm sure with your character you will succeed.
Offset is right, don't be scared to talk to someone and get the feelings etc. in check. Bottling everything up is detrimental to your recovery.
Even though we are not professionals you will always have an ear with us.
Keep fighting the good fight.
Positive vibes headed your way.

Pete

Thaks guys getting alittle better each day.. Had to relocate my poor wife to a different nursing home to-day.. very stressful and it was very hard to deal with.. the end of life sucks and losing your wife and best friend is devastating..and heart breaking.. I am having a really hard time about that.. I don't want to live in my house right now or even look at my car.. I have lost my best friend and I am hurting big time ..I am overwhelmed with sadness. and fear of the future.. I can't imagine anything more devesting .. I am trying to get by one hr at a time but life sucks for me and my poor wife right now.. I sure need and appreciate your support and I am trying to to find peace in my heart again. it's the toughest thing I have ever faced in my life.. We have together since we were 15 years old.. I miss her terribly much..every where I look in the house I see her or smell her scent having tough times sleeping right now.. I hope some time and friends will get me to a better place.. but I am still strugging to breath with the damage to my heart from those crappy pain killers.. one night at a time right now .. Thanks for your kind inspiring words and prayers they have helped way more than words can express.. I am trying to check in every couple days.. but I still have way to much stress in my world right now.. and a hard time to sleep alone.. So hug your wife tonight tightly and tell her you love her .. to soon she might be taken.. I sure wish I could have a couple more years with Diane..I would even take all the bad ones.. right now.. thanks..chuk

Hi Chuk
I know you are watching. Someone has brought in a dog for a visit, that is so cool. I have heard many times how good that is for older people. When my wife's grandmother was around she would take her dog to go and visit. It was wonderful for all the people in the nursing home. Really easy to get people to talk then, everyone has dog or cat stories. And the cuddles were great for everyone as well. Prayers continue from here.

You can count on your wife being in good hands Chuck,..." You " just need to concentrate on getting your own health back so you can eventually turn these circumstances around, and get you both back together again. So glad to hear that you are recovering at home, and have your daughter there with you, it sure beats the hell out of being stuck in a hospital 24 / 7 ( with the guy in the next bed to you bragging about his Russian built '76 Lada on a daily basis ),...

Once you start getting weened off of those meds,..things will start getting much clearer,..and life will start looking a whole lot brighter for the future, you just have to hang in there and concentrate on getting well again yourself Bud,...and given what " Parklane " has told me about you,..you are just the guy that can do it. After reading 3 full pages of posts on this subject,..I have come to realize that you have your own private Army here, and it appears that there isn't one of those guys that doesn't have your back X 110%,...that alone speaks volumes about you Chuck,...they have all the faith in the world in that you will beat this problem to a pulp.

Get well soon Chuck,..looking forward to getting over your way one day with Parklane for a visit.
