Chrome plating east of Toronto

Anyone know of any business east of Toronto that is rechroming bumpers? Both my bumpers are in need and I would rather have them done locally if I could. I have used Cambridge Custom Chrome in the past a couple of times and have been completely satisfied. Like I said I would rather spend my money locally.

I may be wrong but I thought no that chroming our here east of the city is a thing of the past due to environmental issues... doubt it will be much longer that anyone in Ontario will be offering that service.

There is a small   chrome shop down in the beaches ,but only do small stuff

Canadian crank and chrome had to move their crankshaft business out of toronto

to Vaughan , John told me a few years ago that the moe was checking the drains in front

of his shop regular , and he only chromed crankshafts !!!!

Is Platingmaster in London still in operation ???? used them years ago with great results and and value added costing . There is Precision Plating in London but i have no idea what they are like to deal with . What I use for the the plant is Industrial Process for galvanize and phosphated material as well as pickling , I don't know if they do chrome or anodizing . They are located the south west side of Cambridge .

Google chrome plating Toronto. At least 8 come up in the Scarborough area. That's probably about as east as you are going to get. Always used Jim's myself.

i have used jim's polishing in scarborough a couple of times and found them reasonably priced and good work done. the turn around time was about a week-week and a 1/2.

im told chroming is dirt cheap in Manitoba as they don't have all the bull**** rules like Ontario, is worth sending to get done, at least im told that

If you have used Cambridge before, obviously you want a show quality finish. I don't think I would put my bumper on a bus, both ditections and send it to a shop in Manitoba where I had no face to face contact and perhaps had to send it back again. Jim has done several bumpers for me and the work was great and the charge really fair. His son runs the place now, hopefully he continues the tradition.
