we all know of or have heard about a car that is sitting somewhere rotting away outside and the owner won't sell it as he is going to build it. i m going to sell this project car but it has been sitting indoors for as long as i have known about it by the 2 previous owners and here with me for 5 or 6 years now. my plans were to old school hot rod it but it probably ain't never going to happen, reality sucks sometimes. lol

i bought it some years ago from a buddy of mine who is the local harley wrench in this area. it is in original stock condition with the original interior and power train, flat 6-6 volt, that we drove it on and off the trailer with and then parked it. it is a solid car with some asst grille pc's in the trunk. i know this is a vague description but if i stop typing now i will probably change my mind again, lol. once i get it out there i will be more or less committed to let it go but i will up date the post with more pic's and info in the next couple of days. if you want a pic or some info on a specific area let me know. ownership is in my name.

to go with it are some parts i have been hoarding for the old school project which are,

327 2 barrel which was running when pulled x number of years ago and stored inside

9 inch rear which came out of  late 60's t-bird running when parted out

muncie 4 speed, 3 to choose from

single 4 bbl cast intake with front oil fill, no carb or 2x4 alum intake with carbs and linkage or 2x4 tunnel no carbs,  to choose from

300 hp heads, bare and tested ok

old straight axle of unknown origin

-

  the deal,

      car only,  $7000.00

     car with parts,  $8500.00

i would/will take a deposit and hold it here for this winter if need be. free delivery within a 100 miles. its not a have to sell sale but more of a reality sucks sale. if i finish off all the stuff i have here now properly then i  will have lots to do for the foreseeable future.

i would guess the question would be, whats it worth when finished properly?  it has to be north of 30g's, what do you think?

Doesn't look like it rotted away to bad in your care yet.. I would think anyone looking for a nice clean little coupe to build would be glad to find that.. I would say there ani't many coupes around any more that are clean, solid still original and I really like the small caps and rings on the wheels.. The right color on that and it could be a stunning car.. Good luck on the sale ..

i got some pic's of the coupe today and took a look over it, 3 sides. one is tight to the wall. lol i am going to have to get it out to the middle of the shop with better lighting. the trunk is full and i want to get all the brightwork on the floor and see whats all there. it looks like it is all probably there, bonus. i didn't pay attention to that stuff as all i was looking at was an old school hot rod with no big dents and very very little rust issues when i bought it. i also didn't realize it was a deluxe model if that has much bearing on anything. the under hood pic's were done one handed, couldn't find the stick. lol

like i said i will have to get it out to the middle and unloaded for a closer look. the battery in it will be pooched so i will try one from

the golf cart and see if it will fire up again. actually for a 76 year old car it is not in bad shape at all. hell i am 10 years younger and

in a lot worse shape from what i have seen so far. lol  i really didn't look hard at it when i bought it as it was a rod project with no

major issues in my mind and buddy caught me off guard when he said he would sell it to me. he scored a nice 34 dodge coupe and

was out of room. there is a good story to what i had to do to buy it involving the guy he got it from, another buddy, but later.

-

also, i have offered it out to a couple of local guys and we all know how that can snowball, just to let you know. on here is the only

place i have put it out on a broader basis so far. if there is anything in particular don't be shy to ask about it. i have nothing to hide,

it is what it is. there is a couple of guys on here, one for sure, i have sold cars to before,  if i need references.   lol

it does have some sin's pugsy but none of them are mortal considering it's 77yrs old. these 3 here are what i would think to be the worst of it, but i'm not a body guy either. it is what it is.
