Built this one up over 2 1/2 years, from two frame rails and two cross members, on up through to finish. Body and fenders were pristine original, so no body work,..scratch and paint only.

Need my friggin head read for selling it.

Wayne I'm with Chuck on this one. It could save you 3 or 4 years of your life and 13 percent of the value . You must have a old insurance policy with the VIN . Then buy a seller's package. Done

I have been tempted to contact Wayne, ( the gent from Petrolia that I sold it to ), Chuck, and ask him where it went to. I asked my brother who lives in Petrolia also,..and he said he has never seen it around there,...I doubt the owner would want to trade on a '54 Ford cruiser,..however , at the time I owned it,..I would have traded in a heartbeat for the '54,..as I was looking for something with more leg room. I spent the winter that year rebuilding my buddies crop duster plane,..had to have it back out and ready to go spraying in less than 5 months,..so I was spending 12 to 18 hours some days in the shop on cement floors,..ended up blowing my right knee cap,..and screwed my back up real well. The Model A was just not comfortable for me at that time. Kind of spoiled now with the '54,..that damn thing rides, and handles better than my 2014 daily driver,..and a whle lot more pep.

ROTFLMAO,...<<<... looking at some Custom Scooter's,...with maybe a Knucklehead >>>,....hahahaha,..too dam funny !!

Actually TMJ,...I believe I still have the one half of the ownership here yet,...maybe I'll just do that,..and see if I can locate the car. Thaks for the heads up !!

I bet with a little leg work if it' hasn't gone state side you could find it.. The sellers Package would be a great start for 20 bucks.. Hey all the new owner can say is sorry It's not for sale and then we can form a group of persuaders..to take him for crop duster ride..biggrin Seriously though If in my heart I wanted that car back I would be on it like snot on a hot oven door..smile

LMAO John,...knowing you,..you probably already know exactly where that car is sitting,..and your gonna sit back and see how good us guys are at detective work,..:>)  :>)

I've seen a really nice little Model A 2 Door Coach around St.Thomas a couple times,...don't know if it's local or not,..any idea who owns that one John,..??,...I believe it is either a black cherry, or chocolate brown in color. Looks like a nice clean straight little vehicle.

For some reason, I have been thinking all along that when Wayne let it go, that it went Stateside Chuck. I do know Wayne had it advertised as wanting a Muscle Car in trade for it. When I had it advertised,..I bet I got a dozen offers for trades on different Muscle Cars.

There is a guy that lives north of Aylmer that has a wine and black A. I can't think if his name,he works/worked at St.T Ford. Nice car but it has a MII front end in it and a 4 cyl. I saw a brown A 2 door at Horton and Wellington in London on Friday, never seen it before.

The one North of Aylmer is probably the one that I am refering to TMJ,...just seen it at night on a couple occassions when I was at a St.Thomas Bike meet a few years ago. There was a cruise night going on right across the road from Timmies on east Talbot st. in the big parkng lot.

Did you ever try tracking it down with the used car package? I have wondered that before on a couple of the cars we have had...hate to think of the sales tax I would have saved if we had kept one of the nice cars we had from the 80s.

GMDad, I did find the Model A some time ago, or I should say the owner found me ( sorta red faced I might ad ), I was using the photo of the Model A on Kijiji to advertise that I was in search of a Model A identical to this one, however, not this specific Model A, just any Model A 2 door coach hot rod that may be for sale. After about 3 weeks, I get an email replying to my ad on Kijiji stating, " This is my car, but it ain't for sale!! ",.. LOL,... the only picture I had that I thought that I could use for advertising, and not get my ass sued off, and the owner of the car sees it,.. haha. I sent him back an apology and told him that I would get the photo off of Kijiji immediately, and he wrote back stating that me using the photo was not a problem with him, to just carry on. We got to sending messages back and forth and he told me that he had been wanting to get more information on the build, as he wanted to make up a " Info display poster to set by the car when he and his wife took it to cruise nights, as a lot of people were asking him questions in regards to the build. I gave him all of the info on the drive train, and the entire build for that matter, and then forwarded him 30 some odd photo's of the build, right from the time that I started boxing in the frame, through to finish. He was quite happy to get all of that stuff. The car definitely went to a good home, it's in Windsor, and owned by a retired gentleman, and he isn't about to part with it,lol

Different way to find it but pretty nice to know it has really changed since you built it and it is in good hands. Bet he was pretty happy to get the pics and build info.
